Tob came through as usual to open the session. He explained how we can help lighten the unpleasant situations in our world by appreciating the beauty in our nature...

Then an unknown communicator joined us for a philosophical talk...

'Some person can loose a penny and be angry, some people can loose so much more and they put it down to inexperience and what your world is is experiencing things...'

During the evening we had a visit from a lady who gave her name as Grace. She talked about the pure simplicity of spirit communication development and that there should be no ego.

'If you have a gift it is for sharing not for one's gratification'

We were back to sitting in full black-out.

Here Tob comes through to open the session...

Later we heard from an eight year old girl who told us she had been playing in the sand and coloured glass with God.
Then Tob came back to close...

We sat again in red light and with the cabinet open.

Freddie came through for a long chat, he wasn't quite sure why they were sitting in red light as he felt Joan was more comfortable sitting in the dark, but said...

'If you can't beat them, join them...'

He then talked about sitting in seance...

'It's not lunatic land nor is it wonderland... it's truthful land...'

Then he started getting more philosophical...

'There's no point trying to kick the walls down, you have to make your own doorway in a sensible, organized way...'

'...and you can sit in a corner all day praying and asking spirit to help you but if you do not help your self our hands are tied'

Then William joined us comparing conditions on both sides of life...

'We are still on the same road... but the terrain has altered slightly'

Tob came through to close with more wise words...

'Always hold head high, not in pride but in certainty... be certain that you will be helped and you will be guided. We may not always pick you up but we can put arm around shoulder and give comfort and love to you as much as we can'

Mercury Circle 24/07/2002

There were only three sitters this week… Dave, Daisy and Travis.

It was decided to experiment sitting in red light with the cabinet open.

Freddie soon came through for an interesting 40 minute chat.

He talked about life on this side including…

‘…there’s a start and there’s a finish and you’ve got to go from one end to the other and no matter what they bloody well throw at you, you have to deal with it… and what really the examination board are after is HOW you deal with it…’

He also talked about life on his side including…

‘…all men and women here build their own castles. You can have a hut or you can have a castle and it’s all of your own making. You can’t blame anyone. You can thank people for guiding and helping you but you get what you deserve and that may sound very frightening to you but if you get your comeuppance here it is done with kindness and love and understanding of your faults or your problems that you had. It’s quite wonderful. There’s a pure simplicity about the understanding, it really is white light and they don’t make you feel ashamed, YOU feel ashamed and you want to improve and wash away any dark smudges you might have around you and it’s quite joyful to do that. But for goodness sake don’t think I’m trotting around heaven like a saint. I am the same bloke here as I was there, we just have a slightly different way of thinking…’

‘…many wild dogs run in pack and many people frightened of packs but within that pack is love and loyalty… When you meet with a pack of people that you cannot relate to, that you can have no understanding with, try to learn about them and they are no longer a wild pack…’

While we were all chatting away William joined us with a very interesting talk to be followed by Freddie who tells us...

'I'm not going to be flippant this evening... I'm going to pretend to be intelligent...'
